Summary

I currently serve as the Media Director for a church in Northwest Indiana, where I try to make our lead pastor's visions for media a reality. Unico Creative Productions is my pet project, if you will, that I eventually would like to turn into a company that helps integrate and/ or establish media (video, web streaming, etc.) into small to mid size churches, schools, missionary organizations, and non-profit organizations.

Creating presentations, video editing, and problem solving technical issues.

Skills
Intermediate level in Spanish. Proficient in FinalCut, Adobe Photoshop, Pages, Keynote, and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Publisher, Access, and Outlook. Work with both Mac and PC. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.

Creative and Technical Experience

Media Director, Heartland Christian Center,
Valparaiso, IN -- 2011-present
I currently edit sermon videos for the website and video podcasts, as well as, promotional videos for upcoming events that the church puts on. I, also, manage a group of 4 to 5 volunteers for the Media Ministry two times a week. I maintain the website, social media sites and internet streaming site. Also, I create advertisements for events and in-house materials for events and services.

Video Intern, KiloMetro Cero,
Madrid, Spain -- June 2009 – August 2009
I shot and edited short videos for Ontheredbox.com and assisted in acquiring the necessary equipment needed for film shoots. Also, I assisted in set up and break down of film shoots.

Administrative and Office Experience

Preschool Director, Heartland Christian Center,
Valparaiso, IN -- 2011-present
I run the preschool program within the church with a staff of two teachers and one aide. I oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool, ensure that we are compliant with Indiana’s Department of Education’s standards for kindergarten readiness. I also work with the children and parents on a daily basis.

My duties as the Office Administrator were to answer and screen incoming phone calls and emails, as well as general clerical work.

Office Assistant, Geminus Head Start XXI,
Merrillville, IN -- 2004-2005
I assisted in putting together training presentations for the teacher training sessions. I troubleshooted general computer issues for other employees. I had general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. Helped set up media equipment for presentations and trainings. Assisted in translating documents from English to Spanish and vice versa. I also helped implement a new library system for the resource library for the employees and teachers.

Customer Service and Promotional Experience

Brand Ambassador, Attack Marketing,

As a Brand Ambassador my duties were to meet with the manager of each restaurant location, map out a the day's street team route, and pass out flyers, coupons and samples to businesses in the area with my partner.

Wedding Coordinator, Dunhill Tuxedos,

I assisted customers in finding tuxedos for special events and in the ordering process for invitations. I maintained the company's mailing lists. 
Designed various advertisements that were published in local newspapers and magazines.
